Joaquin Quirico Marcello Claussel Traconis (1866- 1935) was a Mexican lawyer and political activist, who was predominantly known for his impressionist painting of Mexican land and seascapes.
Joaquin Clausell is considered the main exponent of Impressionism in Mexico and his experimentation in coloring.
