Dorien’s creations were successful and since 1987 they had couture studio’s in Rotterdam (till now) and Amsterdam.(till 2012) Read More
The Rotterdam Historic Museum bought a dress (The Prima Donna dress in 1995?) of DORIENDAVID for their permanent collection.
They worked together in the studio. Dorien took care of designing and creating the collections and the whole couture process. Creative and business decisions were made together and it was a pleasant mix of diverse activities for both.
Besides creating and selling unique custom made clothes, they organized fashion shows and photoshoots.
David initiated their Newsletter (Figuurlijk Gesproken) in 2013. Till now they have published over 40 issues.
DesignsOfDavid
A few years ago David decided to do more with his love for art and photography.
He combined the two by starting to create design, printed on various items
(produced by Print-on-demand base).
Besides prints on apparel like t-shirts, skirts, sweatwers, hoodies etc, there were also prints on pillows, curtains, backpacks etc. These articles are obviously no couture but qualitatively well produced industrial products, decorated with David’s unique designs.
